Field Marketer

MechLink is a fast-growing Nigerian startup transforming the automotive services industry. We connect vehicle owners with verified, skilled mechanics and spare parts merchants through intelligent matching technology — making reliable car care faster, smarter, and more accessible. As we expand our ground presence across Lagos, we're looking for a driven Field Marketer to help bring MechLink directly to the streets. The Role We are looking for a results-oriented and energetic Field Marketer to champion MechLink's growth on the ground in Lagos. This is a contract, commission-based role built for someone who is confident, persuasive, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. What You'll Do Physically onboard mechanics and auto merchants onto the MechLink platform Distribute marketing materials (flyers, branded items) across key locations Build and maintain partnerships with auto garages Represent the MechLink brand professionally at every touchpoint Generate leads and follow up to convert prospects into active platform users Provide regular field reports on activities, challenges, and opportunities What We're Looking For Minimum 2–3 years of proven field sales or marketing experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you can walk into any room and own it Familiarity with Lagos terrain and key commercial/automotive hubs Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized Prior experience in tech, fintech, or FMCG field roles is a strong advantage Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Smartphone-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for reporting What We Offer Contract role with real potential to transition into a permanent position as we scale Be part of one of Nigeria's most exciting early-stage tech startups Direct impact — every mechanic and merchant you onboard moves the needle Include a short note about your field marketing experience, the locations you've worked in Lagos, and why you'd love to be part of the MechLink story.
