Engineering Plans: Elite Insulated Aluminum Roof

Budget: $250 - $750

I have a fully-sketched, modern-style design for an Elite insulated aluminum roof that will cap a residential patio. Now I need an experienced structural engineer to turn those sketches into complete, permit-ready plans.

Scope of work • Convert my detailed concept into sealed structural drawings (PDF + editable CAD). • Provide load calculations and connection details that satisfy local residential codes and wind uplift requirements. • Specify panel thicknesses, fasteners, flashing, edge trims and integrated gutter profiles that match the Elite system. • Coordinate thermal, drainage and expansion considerations so the roof integrates cleanly with the existing modern façade.

Deliverables will be reviewed against local code checklists, so please include your license information and the software you’ll use—AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or equivalent. If anything in my concept conflicts with code, flag it and propose practical fixes before final issue.
