Interim HR Business Partner 3-Month Fixed-term Contract, Full Time Cornwall (travel to other sites may be required) £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Our client is currently undergoing a pivotal period of transition and is seeking an Interim HR People Partner on a full-time, three-month contract.
As Interim HR People Partner, you will build confidence, consistency, and capability across teams, supporting leaders and engaging employees on the ground. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where success is driven by visibility and trust, acting as the link between strategy and execution. You will partner closely with the Operations Director and site leaders to embed effective people practices, coach managers, and ensure the business is well prepared for the incoming permanent hire.
The responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership and site teams to maintain consistent standards.
- Turn strategy into clear, day-to-day leadership practices.
- Take ownership of people processes to ease senior workload.
- Coach managers to build confidence and decision-making skills.
- Prepare teams for peak periods by addressing key people issues.
- Document improvements and ensure a smooth handover to the permanent role.
The candidate:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent HR experience.
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR role, ideally within multi-site environments.
- Strong employee relations expertise, with confidence handling complex people issues.
- Ability to build credibility quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to work at pace in a changing environment.
