People Partner ( Interim)

People Partner - Mid Cornwall (with travel across the County) - up to £44k FTE

Well Placed HR are delighted to be partnering with a new client, an instantly recognisable household name, to recruit an Interim People Partner for a high-impact, 3-month assignment. This is a standout opportunity to join a fast-paced, people-led business at a critical time.

With peak season approaching, the focus is on building confident, capable leaders while ensuring consistency, strong people practices and an exceptional customer experience. This is not a traditional, desk-based HR role. It’s a visible, hands-on position where you’ll work directly with operational teams coaching and influencing in real time. You will be required to travel between sites daily and it is therefore, essential you have a driving license and daily access to a car.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a trusted partner to operational leaders across multiple site

• Provide pragmatic, day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on employee relations

• Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle people matters

• Drive consistency in leadership approach and people practices

• Ensure ER cases are effectively managed and resolved ahead of peak

• Identify capability gaps and support ongoing development initiatives

• Embed systems and processes that enable site-led people ownership

You’ll be an experienced HR generalist with a strong grounding in employee relations, ideally gained within a multi-site environment. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable. Ideal candidates will be credible, hands-on, commercially aware and possess the ability to build trust quickly and influence at all levels. Alongside a competitive salary, there is potential for the role to extend or develop further for the right individual. This is an interim, 3 month role with full time hours.
