Job Summary The Front Desk Attendant serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and professional front desk environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints. Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation. Process payments, issue receipts, and balance cash/transactions. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness. Monitor lobby activity and ensure a clean, organized front desk area. Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally. Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and service standards. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field. 1–2 years experience in a front desk or customer service role (hospitality preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and hotel management systems). Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
