PowerBuilder Developer (BAU / Production Support / Sybase)

Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using PowerBuilder Design and improve user interfaces to support business requirements Provide production support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis Manage and implement change requests in accordance with established processes Develop and enhance Sybase stored procedures and support backend database operations Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system and process flows Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and fixes Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PowerBuilder development Strong experience in PowerBuilder UI design and enhancement Proven experience in production support and incident troubleshooting Good understanding of change request and release management processes Hands-on experience with Sybase stored procedures and database architecture Experience in backend development and database performance tuning Ability to document technical processes and workflows clearly Preferred Skills Experience working in legacy system environments Exposure to system migration or modernisation projects Familiarity with structured development and governance processes Additional Information This is a 1-year contract position Role involves a combination of development, maintenance, and production support responsibilities All information will be kept strictly confidential.
