Comprehensive Roofing Takeoffs Needed

I am preparing bids for three different roof options—metal panels, asphalt shingles, and clay or concrete tiles—and I need a precise digital take-off for each. For every system you will work from my drawings (PDF, DWG, or comparable format) and produce a fully detailed material breakdown that includes quantities, specifications, and any relevant notes an estimator or installer would expect to see.

Because the goal is a turnkey estimate package, I am looking for:

• Separate worksheets or tabs for each roof type. • Line-item quantities for field material, trim, flashings, underlayment, fasteners, and accessories. • Clear unit descriptions (squares, linear feet, pieces, etc.) and subtotals so I can drop the numbers straight into my cost spreadsheet.

Accuracy is critical; please rely on industry-standard take-off software or CAD measurement tools rather than manual scaling. If anything in the drawings is unclear, flag it early so we can avoid revisions later.

I will supply the plans immediately upon award and would like the first draft back within one business days, with a final version after my review. If you have questions about pitch conversions, waste factors, or local fastening requirements, just let me know up front.
