Residential Concealed Duct HVAC Design
Description
I have a set of residential blueprints and site photos ready and need a complete cooling + heat-pump layout built around a concealed-duct mini-split system. Will need to be 4 zones. The goal is to achieve maximum comfort while keeping first-cost and operating expenses under control, so component selection and duct routing must prioritise cost effectiveness at every turn.
There is already exisitng radiant heat in the house so the heat pump is only supplemental.
Here is what I will supply the moment we start: • Rough square-footage and insulation details
What I expect back: • Equipment recommendations (condenser, air handlers, line-set lengths, accessories) with pricing tiers noted • Duct sizing and layout drawings overlaid on the plans, ready for my GC to follow • A brief control strategy showing thermostat locations and zoning if required
Please attach examples of past residential projects where you designed concealed-duct or other mini-split configurations; seeing your drawing style and calculation method will help me lock in a decision quickly. If you regularly work with software such as WrightSoft, Cool Calc, or Elite RHVAC, mention it—clean, professional output is important to me.
I will review submittals for clear calculations, practicable duct paths, and equipment that realistically meets the budget goals. Once approved, I will release final payment. Let’s get this system designed the right way.
