I run a career coaching business (Job Hunting U), and we currently generate our leads through targeted LinkedIn and Facebook outreach.
I have a fantastic outbound messaging specialist based in Nigeria (Sonia) who is doing the heavy lifting—sending messages, building pipelines, and keeping the gears turning. However, she is not a veteran sales professional, and I need a high-level Sales Performance Coach / Manager to step in, be her direct manager, and turn our outbound engine into a well-oiled machine.
I need someone who lives and breathes B2B sales, social selling, and pipeline management. If you know how to coach a rep to turn a cold LinkedIn connection into a 15-minute discovery call, you are exactly who I’m looking for.
What You Will Do: Directly Manage & Coach: Meet with Sonia regularly, track her daily/weekly KPIs (connections sent, acceptance rates, reply rates, meetings booked), and keep her accountable.
Refine the Playbook: We are actively moving away from "pitch-slapping" and towards a "Curious Peer" / "Permission-Based" DM strategy. You will oversee this transition and tweak the scripts to maximize conversions.
Pipeline & CRM Mastery: Ensure leads are being properly categorized in our CRM (System.io) based on urgency (e.g., Actively Applying, Open but Not Urgent, Networking).
Advanced Lead Gen Strategy: Lead the charge on high-level tactics. This includes hijacking influencer traffic on massive Facebook pages, engaging Facebook Group owners to build partnerships, and event-mining for high-intent leads.
Troubleshooting: Analyze our funnel from top to bottom. If a specific message sequence is getting stalled before the Discovery Call or Demo stage, it will be your job to identify the bottleneck and fix it.
Who You Are: You are located in Africa (preferably Nigeria or South Africa) to easily align with Sonia’s schedule and working culture.
You have proven experience managing SDRs, VAs, or appointment setters.
You have deep expertise in LinkedIn Lead Generation (this is our most successful channel right now) and Facebook organic marketing.
You understand that modern social selling is about building relationships and offering value upfront, not spamming links in a first message.
You are comfortable using CRM tools (System.io) and contact-finding tools (SignalHire).
