Description

**Operations Strategy Associate (Austria)

  • Full-Time**

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As an Operations Strategy Associate, you will shape and drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our in‑field and warehouse operations in Switzerland and Austria. You will support the Fleet organisation to deliver operational excellence across key KPIs and play a central role in successful city launches and long‑term improvement projects. Working closely with local Fleet teams, third‑party logistics providers (3PLs) and central stakeholders, you will directly influence the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our operations in the region.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and refine the operations strategy for the market, including logistics partner management, workforce planning, and service design execution.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor in‑field operations and drive accountability across teams.
  • Ensure high‑quality data management, rider analytics and platform management to enable deeper insights, long‑term planning and data‑driven decision‑making across KPIs (e.g. backlog, cost per repair, repair efficiency, uptime).
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, ensuring transparency on performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and support PMO‑type operations projects, securing successful implementation across local teams.
  • Contribute to city launches by coordinating cross‑functional planning and execution with both local and central stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with and support Fleet Managers in managing 3PL relationships, including sourcing, contract negotiation, performance monitoring and continuous follow‑up.
  • Act as a bridge between central and local teams, supporting Fleet & Site Managers on execution, ensuring compliance with standards and proactively spotting improvement opportunities to maximise efficiency, revenue and overall success in the region.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

You are a data‑driven operator who enjoys turning complex problems into clear priorities and actionable plans. You thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments, can challenge the status quo with structure and evidence, and are comfortable working with stakeholders across different locations and functions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, strategy or consulting, ideally from a fast‑paced or scaling environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience independently conducting in‑depth data analysis, managing datasets, identifying underlying drivers, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience managing projects end‑to‑end and driving implementation of improvements together with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complex cross‑functional initiatives and align both local and central teams.
  • Professional fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with SQL or similar is an advantage.
