HR Advisor (human Resource Advisor)
Description
Morson Edge is pleased to be partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Interim HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time opportunity offering excellent exposure within a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for an emerging HR professional looking to broaden their experience across the full HR function, with a particular focus on developing employee relations expertise.
Working closely with the wider HR team, you will gain hands-on involvement in a variety of HR activities, building confidence in managing employee relations cases while providing support and guidance to both managers and employees on policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contractual changes and documentation
- Support managers with best practice in people management and HR procedures
- Provide clear and practical advice on a range of HR matters
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary issues, grievances, and long-term absence
- Support the review and continuous improvement of HR policies alongside the HR Manager
- Identify opportunities to enhance management capability through coaching and upskilling
- Assist with organisational change initiatives and embed effective HR practices
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience within an HR function (e.g. HR Administrator, Coordinator, or Junior Advisor)
- Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Currently studying towards, or holding, a CIPD qualification
