About the role
An exciting role at North Northamptonshire Council within the Housing Solutions Service, the Senior Officer Tenancy Support will manage the Council's Tenancy Support Team ensuring that a high level of tenancy support is provided to single homeless people in temporary accommodation, people supported under the Housing Support Grant and residents living in the Council's Never Give Up supported accommodation project.
You will provide effective supervision and manage the performance of a team of Tenancy Support Workers achieving service excellence and positive results.
Working with other Senior Officers in the Accommodation Service, you will ensure robust, consistent and joined up support services are provided to single homeless people and former rough sleepers that focus on placement sustainment to prevent repeat homelessness and rough sleeping.
To succeed in the role, you must have demonstratable experience at a senior officer level (or similar) with an experience of handling complex cases and providing solutions for vulnerable individuals.
The role will require the post holder to be based in the office full time across the North Northamptonshire area.
