UC (Unified Communications) Support Engineer

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and solve technical glitches across multiple components of the organization’s communication ecosystem.
  • Manage and optimize MS Teams Telephony and Cisco IPT environments.
  • Support Direct Routing configurations and maintain SBC (Session Border Controller) health.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end call flows, transfers, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical oversight for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and legacy systems like Skype for Business (SfB).

Qualifications:

  • Deep experience with Microsoft Teams Infrastructure, Direct Routing, and MTR.
  • Hands-on experience with Sonus (Ribbon) and Cisco SBCs.
  • Strong knowledge of legacy Cisco Voice, Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center (WxCC).
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise IP Telephony, SIP signaling, and complex call routing logic.

Must Have:

  • Proven track record in a high-pressure application support or UC engineering role.
  • Expertise in Sonus & Cisco SBC configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with WxCC (Webex Contact Center) implementation or support.
