Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python / React / AWS) AI-Accelerated Development

Our client is an AdTech SaaS built on Shopify that helps e-commerce businesses run ads on Meta and Google. The product is evolving from a simple setup tool into a full AI-driven solution: it analyzes a store, identifies the best product opportunities, generates creatives, launches campaigns, and optimizes them automatically. The merchant sets a target ROAS — the system handles the rest. They are looking for a Senior Engineer who can take real ownership of the product and help deliver the next stage of growth.

What you’ll own In the first months, you’ll dive deep into the existing platform: stabilizing, maintaining, and building context. Then you’ll move into: AI-native experience: building store intelligence that analyzes merchant data, scores products by predicted ROAS, and drives campaign decisions automatically Deep Shopify integration: ensuring the product lives where merchants already work (Shopify admin, Sidekick, Flow), not as a separate tool Platform reliability & UX improvements: improving onboarding, ROAS optimization, and performance transparency Quality at every stage: owning QA as part of delivery — writing specs with acceptance criteria, critically reviewing AI-generated code, and ensuring features are tested before release

How the team works The team follows an AI-assisted development approach: spec → generate → review → refine → ship You don’t need to write every line manually — but you do need to: write clear specs review code confidently maintain a high quality bar

You’ll work directly with the founders — no PM layer, no excessive processes.

This role is for you if: You have 5+ years of production experience with Python and React You have hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda or similar) You’re comfortable owning the full stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure) You’ve worked with Shopify API, Meta Marketing API, or Google Ads API You’re used to being the primary engineer and making architectural decisions You can balance support and feature development You’ve used AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) and understand their strengths and limitations You treat QA as part of shipping (tests, code reviews, validation before release)
