This is a hands-on Financial Account role for someone comfortable getting into the details and helping bring structure to a busy finance function.

You'll be supporting the team through a period of backlog and cleanup work, focusing on journals, reconciliations, and General ledger.

The Financial Accountant Role

You'll be working across multiple ledgers, processing a high volume of journals and supporting the team in correcting historic postings. It's a detail-driven position where accuracy and pace both matter.

Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant Role

• Posting large volumes of journals across multiple entities
• Processing adjustments and reclassifications to correct mispostings
• Ensuring all entries are clearly supported and documented
• Working through historic backlogs in a structured way
• Supporting with balance sheet reconciliations and clearing down items
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and transaction matching
• Pulling data and reports from the finance system as required
• Raising queries where something doesn't look right rather than guessing

What you will bring to the Financial Accountant role

• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Comfortable processing high volumes of transactional work
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
• Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Confident enough to ask XXXX XXXX challenge where needed
• Good communication skills and able to work with different stakeholders
