Accountant

Innovation & Automation is a leading home automation company dedicated to creating innovative solutions that elevate modern living. With a team of 50+ talented professionals, we are expanding our horizons and seeking an Accountant to lead our Finance & Accounts department.

Role Overview:

·     As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization.

·     Your role will encompass financial reporting, budgeting, and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.

·     The ideal candidate will have a basic background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

·   Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

·   Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.

·   Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic financial decisions.

2. Accounting Operations:

·  Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations.

·  Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

·  Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

·  Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.

·  Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.

·  Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

4. Compliance and Auditing:

·   Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

·   Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.

·   Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

5. Financial Reporting:

·   Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.

·   Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders.

·   Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (1+ years) as an Accountant or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software(Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic leadership and communication skills.
