Description
Location: This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely from the Berks & Bucks FA office (Milton Park, OX14 4SB), home and around the County.
Salary: Band 4 (£24,280-£29,280) per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week. (Requirement to work evenings and weekends in line with the demands of the role.)
Contract: Full time***** - Fixed Term Contract (Expiring June 2028).

We have an exciting opportunity for some one to join our team as Business Support Administrator. This role seeks to provide high-quality financial, administrative, and customer service support. This position reports directly to the Head of Operations and works closely with colleagues and stakeholders across all areas of the organisation.
The successful candidate must be determined, a team player as well as having the ability to maintain multiple projects and deadlines.
Main responsibilities
• Delivers high-quality administrative, financial, and customer service support to ensure smooth organisational operations.
• Take a key role in keeping the organisation accounts system (Xero) up to date and supporting staff with related processes.
• Be one of two Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSO), supporting and deputising for the DSO, administering safeguarding requirements and helping implement The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard.
• Maintains organised governance systems, supports finance and HR processes through accurate documentation, and keeps organisational policies and procedures up to date.
• Work closely with colleagues, the CEO, Chair, and Board, providing direct administrative support.

**Who we're looking for...**Someone who is motivated by the positive impact football has on individuals and communities through connecting people and changing lives. This role supports our work by providing effective administrative support, finance processing and generally helping the organisation run smoothly and robustly.
A key responsibility of the role is the management of our finance systems (Xero), so someone of experience of using such systems in an account payable and receivable capacity would be ideal.
Who can also hold the role of a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO). The role enables the wider organisation to run on stable foundations, supporting the enhancement of our services, and so extend our develop of grassroots football across our region.
