Grader

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented milk grader to join our team. As a milk grader you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of the milk received from farmers. Your role will be critical in maintaining the highest product standards to ensure our cooperative safe, fresh and high quality dairy products. QUALIFICATIONS. EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Diploma or Certificate in Dairy Technology, dairy management or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree will be an added advantage. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dairy production, milk grading, or quality control. Familiarity with dairy standards and regulations. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The milk grader will be responsible for the daily grading, weighing and recording of farmers' milk. The milk grader shall act as a communication agent between the farmers and Ol kalou dairy. The milk grader is expected to take care of all equipment provided by the dairy. The milk grader shall be in charge of vehicle control during milk collection. The milk grader will supervise the milk transporters or loaders along the route while grading and collecting milk. The milk grader and the transporter shall ensure safety of the already collected milk and be responsible for the quantity and quality of the milk delivered to the plant. The milk grader shall participate in milk mobilization and training farmers on trading high quality milk The milk grader shall deliver farm inputs requested by farmers. The milk grader shall portray a good image of the company to farmers and other stake holders.
