Job Summary Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking a cleaning company to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment by following strict infection prevention and control standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize hospital areas including wards, theatres, outpatient areas, offices, corridors and washrooms. Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines at all times. Properly handle and dispose of medical and non-medical waste according to hospital policy. Replenish cleaning supplies. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly. Respond promptly to spills, especially biohazard spills. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient. Adhere to hospital safety protocols, including use of PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, beds and equipment regularly. Minimum Qualifications Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Basic knowledge of infection control practices is an added advantage High level of integrity and professionalism Key Competencies Attention to detail Time management and organisation Ability to follow instructions Reliability and Punctuality
