Operational Support Coordinator

  • Annual Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Join our team as an Operational Support Coordinator, a pivotal role at the operational team.

This hands-on position involves high responsibility, ensuring smooth operations by keeping information flowing, jobs progressing, systems accurate, and teams aligned. If you thrive in structured, fast-paced environments and enjoy bringing order to complex processes, this role is for you.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, resolving routine queries and escalating where necessary.
  • Manage the central administration inbox, ensuring all emails are actioned, delegated, tracked, and closed.
  • Serve as the coordination hub between office and field teams, maintaining clear communication via email and WhatsApp.
  • Ensure instructions, requests, and follow-ups are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Proactively chase outstanding actions to prevent delays or service issues.
  • Process and set up new jobs with complete and accurate details.
  • Maintain job records across all systems with high attention to detail.
  • Log, update, and track sales opportunities within the CRM.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure work is scheduled, completed, and fully reported.
  • Monitor ongoing jobs, chasing updates where required to maintain service levels.
  • Handle routine customer queries relating to live jobs or active service delivery.
  • Prepare reports and supporting documents for operational reviews and performance tracking.
  • Maintain and oversee key systems used for job management, sales, and administration.
  • Oversee day-to-day fleet administration, including vehicle records, servicing schedules, and compliance.
  • Manage uniforms, PPE, stationery, and general office supplies.
  • Coordinate new starter administration, including equipment ordering and system access setup.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations support, administration, or coordination.
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems, inboxes, and competing priorities.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in chasing actions.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and prioritise effectively.
  • Desirable: Experience within pest control, facilities management, construction, or service-based environments. CRM or job-management system experience.
