Site Supervisor

Your new company A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery of a major new highways scheme in the West Midlands. This is a significant long-term programme of roadworks and structures, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing project team on a flagship infrastructure development.

Your new role As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure the successful, safe and efficient delivery of all on-site activities.

• Completing weekly plant returns
• Producing a photographic record of materials received
• Maintaining site sheets and weekly cost spreadsheets
• Managing and verifying site delivery tickets
• Promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures
• Driving a defect-free and snag-free approach to work delivery
• Identifying and highlighting value engineering opportunities
• Ensuring full environmental compliance across all works
• Leading on Near Miss reporting
• Ensuring all monthly HSE returns are completed
• Supporting a strong safety culture across site operations

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within highways or civil engineering
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality and compliance processes
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage key site documentation
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
