Job Summary The Site Project Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, asset integrity, and discipline engineering to ensure optimal asset performance, reliability, and product quality within approved budgets. The role involves managing maintenance and integrity programs, implementing engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards while driving operational efficiency across onshore and offshore assets. Responsibilities Oversee maintenance operations, asset integrity, and engineering activities to ensure reliability and availability of assets. Manage and implement Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS), corrosion management, and inspection programs. Coordinate with internal departments and contractors including Facilities, Asset Management, SCM, and HSE. Develop and implement risk and reliability management techniques such as RBI, RCM, and IPF. Lead the execution of the 5-year integrity plan, including hardware barrier reviews and integrity assessments. Provide technical authority support for engineering, maintenance disciplines, and project execution. Develop and maintain engineering and maintenance procedures to ensure operational excellence. Implement risk-based inspection programs to improve safety, cost efficiency, and asset integrity. Develop condition monitoring strategies, including corrosion monitoring and failure prevention systems. Establish and monitor KPIs and mechanical integrity parameters to track performance and improvements. Optimize equipment uptime, minimize shutdowns, and apply root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve recurring issues. Support implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PM & PdM). Lead degradation management programs and ensure proper documentation for all equipment and assets. Ensure compliance with HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture across all operations. Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to enhance team capability and support workforce localization initiatives. Key Performance Indicators Reduction in downtime due to mechanical failures and loss of containment. Improved asset uptime through effective PM and PdM programs. Effective implementation and continuous improvement of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS). Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Corrosion, or Metallurgical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry (onshore and offshore experience required). Experience working in West Africa is an added advantage. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of maintenance and asset integrity management systems. Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards. Experience in pressure vessel, pipeline, and storage tank integrity management. Proficiency in maintenance planning, inspection, and reliability engineering.
