Head, Projects and Asset Management

Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Projects and Asset Management to provide leadership and end-to-end oversight forengineering, construction, and asset management activities across its operations. The role will be responsible for driving project delivery excellence, optimizing assetperformance, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment withorganizational objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and construction projectsacross the organization. Develop project strategies, schedules, and execution plans to ensure delivery withinscope, budget, and timelines. Oversee asset management frameworks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, andlifecycle management of company assets. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and implement cost control measures. Manage contractor selection, negotiations, and performance evaluation. Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, safety, environmental, and operationalstandards. Provide leadership and direction to project and asset management teams. Identify project risks and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. Prepare periodic performance and progress reports. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional membership with relevant engineering bodies is required. PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is an addedadvantage. 12–15 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project management within the oil and gas industry. Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects fromconcept to completion. Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and industry regulations. Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, orsimilar software. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
