Financial Manager

Job Summary The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. The role requires strong expertise in fintech operations, digital financial services, and regulatory frameworks to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and expenditure to ensure financial stability Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards Oversee financial audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives Support product pricing, loan portfolio analysis, and profitability assessment Collaborate with operations and tech teams to improve financial systems and automation Supervise accounting functions including payables, receivables, and payroll Provide financial insights to guide executive decision-making Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CFA) is highly preferred Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in finance, preferably within fintech or financial services Strong knowledge of digital lending, payments, or financial technology operations Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of financial regulations in Nigeria Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Excellent leadership and team management abilities High level of integrity and attention to detail Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Budget adherence and cost control efficiency Cash flow management effectiveness Compliance with regulatory requirements Profitability and financial growth metrics Reporting Line Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Managing Director / CEO Benefits Competitive salary package Health insurance Career growth opportunities in a fast-growing fintech company And any Other benefit
