Finance Manager
Description
Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards. Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports for management review. Monitor financial performance and advise on improvement areas. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Track budget performance and highlight variances for management action. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Ensure proper documentation and classification of all transactions. Ensure tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings. Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documents. Implement and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and procedures Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations. Monitor bank transactions, reconcile accounts, and manage relationships with financial institutions. Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial risks Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
