AI Engineer - Agentic Systems LLMs & RAG)

Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong experience in building agentic systems , Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and LLM-powered applications . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LangChain , n8n , and agentic workflows and Applied experience with multiple programming languages implementation The engineer will be responsible for deg, developing, and deploying intelligent, scalable AI systems. Key Responsibilities Design and implement LLM-powered applications using frameworks such as LangChain Build and optimize RAG pipelines integrating vector databases and external data sources Develop agentic workflows that can reason, plan, and execute tasks autonomously Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and services Design and orchestrate workflows using tools like n8n or similar automation platforms Work with embeddings, vector stores, and semantic search systems Develop APIs and backend services to support AI features Optimize model performance, latency, and cost efficiency Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to define AI-driven solutions Stay up to date with advancements in AI, LLMs, and autonomous agents Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks Hands-on experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems Experience deg agentic workflows / autonomous agents Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as: Python (preferred) Golang Rust JavaScript / TypeScript Experience with n8n or other workflow automation/orchestration tools Solid understanding of: Vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) Embeddings and semantic search Prompt engineering and LLM evaluation Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong problem-solving and system design skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-agent systems and orchestration Knowledge of fine-tuning and model optimization techniques Experience with knowledge graphs or structured data systems Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Experience building production-grade AI systems with monitoring and observability Background in fintech, payments, or data-intensive applications What We Offer Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and agentic systems Flexible work environment (remote-friendly, if outside Lagos) Competitive compensation High-impact role with ownership and autonomy Collaborative and fast-paced engineering culture Nice-to-Have Project Experience Building AI copilots or assistants Autonomous task XXXX XXXX Document ingestion and intelligent search platforms Workflow automation using AI agents Integration with third-party APIs and enterprise systems
