KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Development and design of project M&E system and tools - contribute to the development of M&E framework and plans for WIK projects and support determination of information needs & identifying indicators Monitoring & Evaluation- strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures in line with project and consulting with programme teams Data collection, Analysis and Management - ensure timely collection of all relevant data necessary for project implementation and monitoring and evaluation system and facilitate development and implementation of strategies to improve data quality Qualitative and quantitative techniques for data collection- support design and develop qualitative and quantitative study instruments whenever required and provide guidance in the use of key qualitative and quantitative tools Reporting and Documentation- assist programme teams in developing termly reports as required- monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually for management, donors and institutional engagements and develop and share field visit reports with programme and management teams Support knowledge building and knowledge sharing- design training to improve skills based on the identified skills gaps and support staff in improving learning and sharing mechanisms in the projects Networking- promote internal, inter-agency & organization linkages and collaboration REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, statistics, or a related field. Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation roles, preferably in the humanitarian, development or non-profit sector. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Knowledge of research methodologies, project management, and data analysis. Ability to work well in a team and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
