Manager, Student Talent Attraction and Development
- 1-Year Contract Location: West, Singapore Working Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30am–5:45pm, Fri 8:30am–5:15pm Contract Duration: 1 year (possibility of permanent offer) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead student talent attraction and development programmes. This role focuses on creating and executing initiatives that cultivate undergraduate talent, manage scholarship programmes, and strengthen engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for developing student potential. Key Responsibilities Student Talent Development Programmes Develop and implement operational strategies for talent development programmes aimed at nurturing undergraduate skills and leadership potential. Collaborate with colleges, schools, offices, and vendors to design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and mentoring initiatives. Monitor programme effectiveness, gather feedback, and make improvements as needed. Track budgets and manage programme expenditures. Talent Scholarship Programmes Develop marketing and promotional strategies in collaboration with colleges, schools, and internal offices. Manage scholarship initiatives, including application processes, selection criteria, and coordinating expert panellists. Build and maintain relationships with scholarship recipients, interview panellists, and domain experts. Maintain accurate records and measure programme impact. Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to student talent initiatives. Ensure smooth execution of multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes. Key Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Event Management, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years’ proven experience managing student development initiatives, scholarships, leadership programmes, or similar projects. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and oversee multiple initiatives concurrently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with project management tools and software. Passion for education, student talent development, and fostering growth opportunities. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
