Responsibilities: Manage the daily client money reconciliations & controls for APAC exchanges and ensure compliance with the regulations of the relevant jurisdictions. Ensure all regional regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on a timely basis. Identify, investigate and explore relevant internal or external data sources / datasets / technologies to assist with process improvement and data analysis. Participate in process improvements or BAU (business as usual) change topics/projects as required. Handle daily transactional activities, position & event management and ensure their completion on a timely manner Handle direct client’s transactional queries, perform investigation for proper resolution &/or direct them to appropriate teams as appropriate. Develop an expertise of the Societe Generale business and organization, as well as the general Clearing business to have an adequate understanding of the business and the supporting platform. Develop an expertise of the Client setup and work closely with business as well as offshore/global teams Cover Follow The Sun protocol for inbound clients, regional/global exchange markets Report and escalate significant issues and blocking points to manager on a timely manner. Cover for any other activities as the need arises to back up the team in a pro-active and professional manne Cross train with teammates regularly and ensure effective communication/handovers of BAU activities among team members Maintain up to date procedures of the tasks covered, and make sure to adhere to the Group policies and exchange rules as appropriate Ensure that all key controls are completed appropriately and on a timely basis. This role involves direct interaction and relationship management with Korean-speaking clients. Knowledge of Korean language is essential. Operational Risk & Regulatory Responsibility: Observe procedures and best practices to reduce occurrence and severity of potential mistakes, escalate issues promptly to Management and participate in the continuous improvement of processes. This is a fixed term 12-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. Profile Required: Academic Background and Certifications, Experience Profile Requirements: A degree with a major/ minor in the following is preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance fields Good interpersonal and communication skills, sense of service, and flexibility are essential requirements Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure Strong analytical and numerical skills.
