Position: Freelance Private Ballet/Dance Teacher (1-To-1) Responsibilities: Provide personalised ballet or dance instruction tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and learning goals. Develop and implement individualised lesson plans that focus on technique, choreography, rhythm, and body awareness. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that nurtures creativity, self-confidence, and a love for dance. Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of each student. Prepare students for performances, exams, or personal milestones, offering guidance and support throughout the process. Collaborate with families to keep them informed about their child’s progress and to discuss ways to support learning and practice at home. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in dance education, incorporating new techniques and styles into lessons. Requirements: Proficiency in ballet or dance, with a strong understanding of technique and choreography. Previous experience teaching dance to children in a one-to-one setting is highly desirable. A relevant degree or certification in dance education or performance is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging approach to teaching. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. A passion for inspiring children through dance and fostering their creativity and self-expression.
