Position: Freelance Private Piano/Violin/Drum/Music Teacher (1-To-1) Responsibilities: Provide individualised music instruction in piano, violin, or drums tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and learning goals. Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that foster musical skills, including technique, theory, sight-reading, and performance. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression through music. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs and goals of each student. Prepare students for performances, exams, or personal milestones, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Collaborate with families to keep them informed about their child’s progress and to discuss ways to support learning at home. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in music education, incorporating new methods and materials into lessons. Requirements: Proficiency in piano, violin, or drums, with a strong understanding of music theory and performance techniques. Previous experience teaching music to children in a one-to-one setting is highly desirable. A relevant degree or certification in music education or performance is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging approach to teaching. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
