Position: Freelance Private Swimming Coach (1-To-1) Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one swimming lessons tailored to each child’s skill level, learning pace, and goals. Teach water safety, basic swimming techniques, and advanced strokes as appropriate for the child’s age and abilities. Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence and enjoyment in the water. Assess each student’s progress regularly and modify lesson plans to meet their evolving needs and skill development. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with learning or special needs, ensuring inclusivity in every lesson. Work closely with families to discuss progress, provide feedback, and offer guidance on how to practice swimming skills outside of lessons. Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times during lessons, adhering to best practices for water safety and first aid. Requirements: Certified swimming instructor, with recognised qualifications from organisations such as the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA), SwimSafer, or equivalent. Valid First Aid and CPR certification is required. Previous experience teaching swimming to children, particularly in a one-on-one setting. Experience working with children with learning or special needs is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, encouraging, and safety-first approach to teaching. Ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and individual needs. A passion for teaching swimming and helping children develop their confidence and skills in the water. Why Join Us?
