Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Employee Central Payroll (EC Payroll) Consultant / Solution Architect to lead and deliver multi-country payroll implementations. This role goes beyond configuration—it requires end-to-end solution ownership, client-facing leadership, coordination of offshore teams, people management, and support in pre-sales initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping payroll solutions, ensuring best practices, mentoring consultants, and enabling client success across multiple projects. Core Responsibilities: Lead and participate in the implementation of SAP EC Payroll for clients. Conduct thorough business process analysis to understand client needs and map them to the EC Payroll system. Configure EC Payroll settings for payroll elements, deductions, and statutory contributions. Integrate EC Payroll with SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, and other HR/finance systems. Develop and maintain test plans; conduct end-to-end payroll testing to ensure accuracy. Provide knowledge transfer and training to client HR/Payroll teams. Stay up to date on the latest SAP EC Payroll functionalities and legislative changes in Singapore and China. Document processes and procedures for system support and handover. Expanded Solution Architect Responsibilities: Multi-Project Leadership: Oversee multiple payroll implementation projects in Singapore and across the region, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery. Client Engagement: Act as the key functional advisor and trusted partner to client HR and IT leadership, managing expectations and addressing escalations. Offshore Team Coordination: Guide and coordinate offshore payroll consultants and technical teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery. People Management: Lead a team of payroll consultants, managing performance, growth, and career progression. Ensure training, certification, and continuous learning opportunities are available. Act as a mentor and empathetic leader, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture. Solution Design & Quality Assurance: Review solution design and configuration delivered by consultants to ensure compliance with best practices, statutory requirements, and project scope. Pre-Sales & Business Development: Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and client presentations. Provide thought leadership in payroll transformation discussions with prospects.
