Network Engineer

Senior / Network Engineer Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: On-site (shift-based) About the Role We are seeking a Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer to support and manage enterprise network infrastructure in a mission-critical environment. This role focuses on ensuring network reliability, security, and performance, while supporting ongoing projects and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities Network Operations & Administration Manage and maintain network infrastructure across production, test, and disaster recovery environments Monitor network performance, availability, and security to ensure smooth operations Perform system upgrades, patching, and enhancements to maintain optimal performance Manage backups, certificates, and system access controls Support disaster recovery planning and participate in regular testing exercises Incident & Problem Management Provide support for network-related incidents and issues Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner in line with service standards Identify root causes and implement preventive measures Project & Change Management Support infrastructure-related projects and system enhancements Plan and implement system changes in accordance with established processes Participate in change reviews and ensure smooth deployment into production Capacity & Performance Management Monitor network capacity and performance trends Perform tuning and optimisation to ensure efficient system operations Documentation & Governance Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and processes Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and best practices Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Relevant experience in network engineering or infrastructure support (candidates with varying levels of experience are welcome to apply) Hands-on experience with network and security technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS Familiarity with data centre or mission-critical environments is an advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work rotating shifts, including after-hours support Preferred Certifications (Optional) Candidates with relevant certifications are welcome to apply, such as: Cisco (CCNA / CCNP) Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point Other network or cybersecurity certifications What We Offer Opportunities to work on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure Exposure to modern network and security technologies A collaborative and supportive working environment
