Three (3) year fixed term contract Key Responsibilities Accurately dispense prescription medicines in line with legal and professional standards. Provide patient counselling on medication use, dosage, side effects, and interactions. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws and regulatory requirements. Manage OTC medicines, medical consumables, and pharmacy equipment. Overseer procurement, stock control, and inventory management. Monitor supplier performance and ensure product quality and compliance. Conduct stock counts, manage expiries, and ensure proper storage conditions. Process prescriptions, billing, and medical aid claims accurately. Resolve billing issues and liaise with medical aid providers. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and support administrative functions. Contribute to policy development and ensure regulatory compliance. Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements. Promote community health awareness and responsible medication use. Requirements Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised and accredited institution. Valid Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC). Minimum of three (3) years of post-qualifications experience with a minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital, retail, or wholesale pharmacy setting.
