Head of Crypto Treasury

We are starting with a proven, operational crypto platform and are now assembling a world-class team to evolve it to the next level. Our core products include: Golden Ratio Exchange: An advanced, security-first exchange for professional traders. GRX Pay: A seamless payment gateway that allows merchants to accept crypto and receive fiat. We are building our foundational R&D hub in Ticino, Switzerland, and are looking for core leaders to build this new culture with us.

The Role This is a foundational leadership role, reporting directly to the CTO. We are looking for a hybrid leader to build and manage our Crypto Treasury team. This team owns the "Fort Knox" of our company: the Blockchain Infrastructure and Key Management Systems that secure all client crypto-assets. While other teams build the user interface, your team manages the reality of the blockchain—ensuring that deposits are detected, withdrawals are broadcast, and funds are consolidated securely. Our management philosophy is unique. The Manager is the single owner of a business vertical, responsible for the Why (the product vision), the What (the features and roadmap), and the Who (the people management and hiring). You will act as both the Product Manager and the Engineering Manager for our crypto infrastructure. Your primary mission is to ensure Solvency, Security, and Compliance.

This is a full-time, Onsite leadership role at our R&D hub in Ticino, Switzerland. Given the high-security nature of managing private keys and cold storage, co-location is essential.

What You'll Do Product Ownership (The "Why" & "What"): Define the strategy for our wallet architecture. How do we balance liquidity (Hot Wallets) with security (Cold/Warm Wallets) to minimize risk? Own the roadmap for supporting new blockchains, optimizing gas fees, and managing node infrastructure. Ensure our custody solutions meet strict MiCA Regulations regarding the safeguarding of client assets. Define the logic for the automated consolidation of funds and the broadcasting of transactions. People & Team Leadership (The "Who"): You will have the mandate to hire and build a specialized team of 4 engineers:2 Backend Engineers with deep cryptographic/blockchain expertise. 2 Blockchain Infrastructure Engineers.

Establish a culture where "Paranoia is a Virtue." You are responsible for the team that holds the keys.

Engineering Execution (The "How"): Lead the migration from our legacy wallet infrastructure to a modern, MiCA-compliant architecture that eliminates single points of failure. Oversee the implementation of secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC) or Multi-Sig environments for private key management. Ensure 100% uptime for our deposit webhooks and transaction broadcasters—if your system is down, the exchange stops moving money.

What We're Looking For 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in a leadership role. You understand the deep technical details of UTXO vs. Account-based models, gas estimation, mempools, and node management. You have experience managing Private/Public keys and understand the difference between Hot, Warm, and Cold storage. You can translate complex blockchain constraints into a predictable roadmap for the rest of the company. You understand what it means to "Safeguard Client Assets" under regulatory frameworks like MiCA. You are not afraid of brownfield projects. You can take an existing wallet system and safely migrate it to a new architecture without losing a satoshi. Willingness to work onsite in Ticino, Switzerland.
