The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland. The Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Superintendent will be responsible for leading, planning, and optimising control, instrumentation, and process automation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Driving integration of control systems and software solutions, while overseeing maintenance, commissioning, and digital performance to support production targets and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Overseeing and coordinating maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control systems, and automation infrastructure. Driving continuous improvement initiatives by analysing system performance data and identifying optimization opportunities. Managing and supporting software systems, including SCADA, PLC, and plant information systems, ensuring availability and integrity. Driving digitalisation initiatives, including data integration, reporting systems, and process optimisation tools. Coordinating and supervising system upgrades, modifications, and new installations for both instrumentation and software platforms. Aligning software performance with plant operational requirements and production targets. Developing and maintaining maintenance strategies, schedules, and documentation for all C&I and software systems. Collaborating and aligning with production, engineering, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems and software solutions. Overseeing Leading and managing all Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and Software personnel to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability. Monitoring and controlling departmental budgets, resources, and contractor performance to ensure cost-effective operations.
