Maintenance Engineer – SAP

For one of our international clients operating in the chemical industry, we are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer - SAP PM for a temporary assignment on their site in Münchwilen (AG), Switzerland.

This role focuses on the analysis, optimization, and standardization of maintenance processes within SAP. You will work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve data quality and ensure efficient maintenance operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance data in SAP (technical objects, maintenance plans, work orders)
• Review and improve existing maintenance strategies and procedures (SOPs)
• Support the standardization of maintenance plans, cycles, and task descriptions
• Clean and maintain SAP master data (remove obsolete data, update technical objects)
• Create and update maintenance plans directly in SAP
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Your Profile

• Experience in a production environment (pharma or chemical industry preferred)
• Good understanding of maintenance processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills (data analysis & reporting)
• Hands-on and structured working style
• Experience with SAP PM (S/4HANA is a plus)
• Fluent German (C1) is required - English B1 minimum
