As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of cutting-edge lithography equipment that keeps our production line running. Our High Voltage Products division is a worldwide specialist in power transmission and distribution. Our Service Unit supports customers around the globe with Generator Circuit Breaker systems (GCB) and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). From training and commissioning to maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and replacements - we ensure critical power infrastructure works reliably, safely, and efficiently.
Service is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our international service team, you-ll take on varied, hands-on work and become a recognized product expert. After comprehensive, practical training in Switzerland, you-ll travel the world to commission and maintain GCB systems - all while working in a dynamic, multicultural environment. This is a role with real impact, technical depth, and plenty of room to grow.
How you-ll make an impact
Lead multicultural service projects for GCB on power plants from 20 MW to 1600 MW worldwide
Ensure smooth and timely execution of installation and maintenance work on site
Perform the final quality check and guarantee that all work meets our high standards
Deliver product training directly to customers at their facilities
Identify risks proactively and implement effective mitigation measures
Coordinate on-site teams and give practical, clear instructions
Manage resource and provide regular reporting to project management
Drive process improvements and implement efficiency-boosting initiatives on site
Your background
Completed apprenticeship in metalwork, electrical engineering, or automotive technology
Solid electrical knowledge (essential); further education such as a technician diploma is a plus
Minimum 2 years of professional experience; experience in site leadership is an advantage
Good English skills (B2 or above); German is a plus
High willingness to travel - up to 80 % worldwide
Flexible, resilient, and communicative team player who enjoys solving problems pragmatically and values high safety and quality standards
