Product Manager (UAV)

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development and is currently looking for an experiencedProduct Manager (UAV)for a Ukrainian miltech company developing codified drones and ammunition that have been actively used on the frontline for several years.
We are looking for a specialist who will be able to build and develop UAV product(s) from mission requirements through to serial production.
Collecting, analyzing, and formalizing needs from end users (operators/units), as well as from internal teams.
Defining Product Vision / PRD (Product Requirements Document) / Roadmap (short cycles, focus on practical value).
Translating field “pain points” into clear engineering requirements: what we build, why, constraints, and how success is measured.
Task XXXX XXXX prioritization for hardware/software teams (R&D, embedded, integrations, hardware design/mechanics, etc.).
Aligning trade-offs: cost / timeline / risks / manufacturability / maintainability / scalability for mass production.
Ensuring implementation aligns with product goals + acceptance of deliverables (criteria, test plans, protocols).
Planning and coordinating testing, collecting feedback, analyzing “what broke and why.”
Continuous iterations: improving performance, stability, usability, and component reliability.
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, configuration descriptions, instructions, and release notes.
Alignment with production/logistics: BOM (Bill of Materials), component substitutions, standardization.
Building a repeatable product management process in a miltech environment (backlog, prioritization, artifacts, follow-ups).
Maintaining a single source of truth for requirements, versions, and product status (ensuring the entire team operates on consistent, up-to-date information).
Experience in Product / Program / Project Management in environments involving physical products: miltech / aerospace / defense / robotics / automotive / embedded / hardware.
Understanding of the hardware product lifecycle: prototype → testing → production preparation → mass production.
Ability to write structured requirements (PRD, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria) and work in ambiguous environments.
Strong collaboration with engineers: basic technical literacy, ability to ask XXXX XXXX questions, and evaluate trade-offs.
Hands-on experience managing priorities across multiple teams/domains.
Experience with UAVs/drones, including working with field units/operators.
