ABOUT THE COMPANY URhome is a branch of BORDAR group Established in 2003 in kenya, majoring in building materials, fast moving goods, retail and overseas manufacture JOB SUMMARY The job holder will be responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitionof goodsand services, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring compliancewithcompany policies and regulatory requirements while supporting overall businessobjectives.Expected Skills, Competencies & QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years experience in procurement, with at least 1 years in a managerial procurement role preferably in a manufacturing setup.Membership with CIPS or KISM will be an added advantageStrong negotiation and communication skillsGood analytical and organizational abilitiesProficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) High level of integrity and professionalismBe proficient in Ms Excel and have Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Quick-books). Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value productsinclude cartons,Homopolymer, woven bags, PE bags, PE Breathable film.Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contractsMonitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationshipsEnsure timely delivery of goods and servicesMaintain accurate procurement records and documentationConduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies and ethical standardsCoordinate with finance, stores, and user departments.
