Senior Product Owner – Records Management / Meta-Search (SAFe)

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Product Owner (SAFe) with strong experience in Records Management, Enterprise Search, and Digital Transformation in regulated environments.This role goes beyond classic Product Ownership. You will act as the “mini-CEO” of the product, shaping the vision, architecture, and business value of a centralized Meta-Search platform used across multiple administrative units. Your Responsibilities: • Gather and structure requirements for a centralized meta-search solution• Conduct stakeholder interviews across different departments• Define and prioritize business use cases• Build and manage a prioritized product backlog• Contribute to target architecture and integration strategy• Support market analysis, PoC, and concept phase• Prioritize features based on business value and risk• Work closely with Product Management, Architects, and Business Owners• Participate in PI Planning, Iteration Planning, and Reviews (SAFe)• Ensure delivery of working product increments• Integrate security, compliance, and performance requirements Required Experience: • Experience with Records Management / Information Management• Experience in digitalization projects in the public sector or regulated environments• Knowledge of Enterprise Search or information platforms• Experience with system integration, APIs, and interfaces• Knowledge of metadata, classification systems, and data models• Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM)• Strong stakeholder management skills• Experience as Product Owner in SAFe or Scrum environments Minimum:? 5+ years experience in complex organizations? Experience with GitOps, DevSecOps, Cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, Kubernetes Certifications: • SAFe POPM (Product Owner / Product Manager)• Scrum Product Owner (CSPO or equivalent)• IREB Requirements Engineering• Education in Digital Transformation / Public IT / Data & Information Management Nice to Have: • Experience with AI-based features, automation, or semantic search Work Model: • 40–60% onsite in Bern• 40–60% remote (only within Switzerland due to regulations) Location: Bern, SwitzerlandStart: May 2026Duration: 32 months (extension possible)Workload: 40–70%Rate: 110 CHF/hour
