DevOps Engineer -Lead(10+ years)

We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

📍 Work Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure / GCP
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes
• Design and maintain multi-environment deployment strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
• Manage source control using Git and branching strategies (GitFlow / Trunk-based)
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, etc.)
• Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
• Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization
• Establish DevOps best practices, governance, and engineering standards
• Integrate security controls within CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices)
• Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers
• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to improve release cycles
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Provide L3 support and participate in incident management and root cause analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in DevOps/Cloud
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts), GitHub, GitHub Actions
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services / GCP
• Proven experience deg and implementing CI/CD pipeline automation
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
• Experience with cloud networking, IAM, and security configurations
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Experience handling production environments and critical deployments
