Atlassian Consultant

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Atlassian Consultant for a leading enterprise client in the automotive sector. The role covers the full spectrum of Atlassian platform work: day-to-day 2nd and 3rd level support, end-to-end internal project delivery, and hands-on DataCenter-to-Cloud migrations. You will act as the primary Atlassian contact for business and technical stakeholders, driving both operational excellence and strategic platform evolution. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Operations

1. Handle 2nd level support requests for Jira and Confluence (DataCenter & Cloud)
2. Troubleshoot workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, and add-ons
3. Administer users, groups, and project/space configurations
4. Coordinate with Atlassian support and Marketplace vendors
5. Maintain support documentation and runbooks

Project Delivery

1. Lead requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders
2. Design and document solution concepts and architecture decisions
3. Configure and implement Jira and Confluence solutions end-to-end
4. Deliver user training and enablement sessions
5. Manage project documentation and UAT coordination
6. Support post-go-live stabilisation and continuous improvement

DataCenter-to-Cloud Migration

1. Conduct migration readiness assessments: instance health, data quality, app landscape
2. Develop detailed migration plans
3. Analyse Marketplace app compatibility and identify replacement solutions
4. Perform data validation and post-migration integrity checks
5. Manage hypercare phase and stabilise the production environment

Required Skills & Experience

1. 3+ years of hands-on Jira and Confluence administration (DataCenter & Cloud)
2. Proven experience in DC-to-Cloud migrations
3. REST API, ScriptRunner / Groovy, Automation for Jira
4. ITIL / ITSM knowledge
5. Agile / Scrum methodology
6. Stakeholder management and requirements engineering
7. Good English (B2+)
8. Self-directed, structured working style
