High-Power AC/AC Converter PCB
Description
Budget: $250 - $750
I have a proven schematic for an AC/AC converter that delivers well above 500 W at frequencies higher than 500 Hz, and now I need a production-ready PCB layout. The board must handle the associated current densities, manage heat effectively, and respect creepage/clearance rules for mains-level voltages. Your task XXXX XXXX to the layout phase: I will supply the schematic and mechanical outline; you translate that into a clean, manufacturable design.
A few essentials you’ll need to keep in mind • High-current copper pours and controlled impedance on the high-frequency side • Thoughtful component placement for airflow and thermal relief • Proper isolation between primary and secondary sections in line with safety standards • Clear test-point strategy so I can validate the assembled boards quickly
I’m flexible on the CAD platform—Altium, KiCad, or Eagle are all acceptable so long as I receive editable source files.
Deliverables • Gerbers, drill files, and assembly outputs • Brief layout notes highlighting critical design choices and expected thermal performance
If you have experience laying out high-power, high-frequency converters and can turn around a robust design quickly, I’d like to work together on this.
