Android Free E-Books App

Budget: ₹12500 - ₹37500

I need an Android application whose sole purpose is to let people discover, upload, and read free e-books in PDF form. The experience has to be entirely mobile-centric—no separate website or desktop companion—so everything from adding a new title to opening it on the screen happens inside the app.

Here is what I have in mind:

• A simple onboarding flow that drops readers straight into a searchable, filterable library of PDFs. • An in-app uploader so I (or approved users) can add new e-books directly from the phone; once uploaded, the file should appear in the catalogue with its cover, title, and basic metadata. • A smooth, distraction-free PDF viewer that remembers the last page read. • Basic categorisation or tagging so the growing library stays organised. • Optional but welcome: a “share” action that can pass an e-book link to other apps.

Deliverables

1. Production-ready Android APK and full source code (Kotlin or Java).
2. Clean, well-commented project structure compatible with the latest stable Android Studio.
3. Brief README explaining how to build, run, and add new books.
4. One round of post-launch tweaks for any critical fixes.
