Data Analyst
Description
Budget: $25 - $50/hr
You will join our analytics team to turn raw healthcare data into clear, actionable insight. Day-to-day, I rely on SQL as the primary tool, so you’ll spend most of your time writing and refining queries that pull the right information, shape it for analysis, and feed it straight into Power BI dashboards. Expect plenty of hands-on data analysis and visual storytelling: translating complex trends into visuals that clinicians, executives, and project partners can grasp at a glance.
Because much of our data comes from clinical and administrative sources, an eye for data quality and patient-centric context is essential. If you have touched Python or R before, great—those skills can help automate routine tasks and deepen analyses—but they are not required to start. I will provide full training, ongoing mentorship, and all necessary hardware/software so you can learn fast and grow with the role.
By the end of each sprint, I look for: • Correct, well-documented SQL queries that run efficiently on large tables • Clear Power BI reports or dashboards that highlight key metrics and trends • Concise write-ups or slide snippets that communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
If you’re analytical, eager to learn, and ready to make a tangible impact on healthcare outcomes, I’d love to see what you can do.
