I run two crime-focused YouTube channels—one documentary driven, the other reaction-based—and I’m ready to hand the editing reins to someone who can turn raw footage into gripping stories. Each week I record both long-form investigations and snappy shorts, so you’ll be juggling two distinct formats:

• Shorts: 60–90 seconds, $20 each • Long-form: $8 per finished minute

What I’m expecting from every cut • Smooth pacing that keeps true-crime fans hooked • Animated captions that punch in at key moments (my viewers love energetic, motion-tracked text) • Solid colour grading to keep a consistent, cinematic look across all uploads • Light VFX or call-outs in After Effects when a fact or clue needs emphasis • Clean audio mixing so narration is clear above background music

I currently release only on YouTube, though some shorts may later be repurposed for TikTok, so keeping a vertical-friendly master is a plus.

The workflow

1. I share footage and a simple beat-sheet.
2. You deliver a first draft; I give concise notes.
3. Final render supplied in 4K (longs) or 1080×1920 (shorts) plus the project files.
