Chapter Support Consultant
Description
Budget: $25 - $50/hr
The Consultant will support the Chapter Support/Membership Department by performing duties that include, but are not limited to: • Providing chapter support services, including responding to chapter inquiries and delivering high quality customer service • Managing and coordinating monthly meetings for chapters, including scheduling, communication, and follow up • Assisting chapters with bylaw-related questions and supporting the review and alignment of chapter bylaws • Preparing and distributing quarterly letters and communications to chapters • Supporting the implementation and adoption of the new Bylaws template across all chapters and helping ensure full compliance • Assist with the following meetings
- agendas and minutes o MEC Leadership Meetings
- 2nd Tuesday of the month at noon o MEC Committee Meetings
- 4th Wednesday of each month at 2 pm o Chapter Leader Calls o Chapter Leaders
- every other month o Presidents / President‑Elects
- every other month o Membership Chairs
- monthly in Q1
Requirements: • Prior experience in membership organizations, associations or nonprofit preferred • Experience supporting governance, bylaws, or policy review is a plus. • Background in customer service, program coordination, or administrative support roles
