Convert Python Script to Android -- 2
Description
I have a working Python script that handles data-processing tasks end-to-end, and I now need the same logic running as a native Android application. The core functionality must remain unchanged—input, processing pipeline, and output should mirror the original behavior—while allowing for some minor updates that refine the overall experience without expanding the feature set.
Codebase access: you will receive the full Python source plus representative data files so you can replicate current results before porting. Preferred approach: feel free to use Kivy, BeeWare, Chaquopy, a Kotlin/Java rewrite, or any other toolchain you are comfortable with, provided the final APK installs easily on Android 7+ devices and the source remains maintainable.
Deliverables • Compilable Android Studio project (or equivalent) • Brief build/run notes so I can reproduce the package on my machine
Acceptance criteria
- app deploy ply stor [ i pay ply stor fee ] • Data processing output on Android matches the script’s results for the same input files • Minor updates are present (e.g., small UI polish or workflow touch-ups), but no major feature additions • App loads, processes, and displays/completes within the same or better time budget as the original script
This is a focused conversion project; once the port is functionally identical and the light refinements are in place, the job is done. Budget: INR 600–1500 Skills: Java, Python, Data Processing, Mobile App Development, Android, Mobile App Testing, Kotlin, Mobile Development, Android Studio
